George Allen Eddy

George Allen Eddy, 68, of Middlebourne, WV, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from his home surrounded by family.
He was born July 16, 1955, a son of the late George William and Erma Lucille Little Eddy.
George was a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a retired coal miner and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his gardens where he grew fruit, nut trees, and berries.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Catherine “Cathy” Williamson Eddy; his children, Tonya Conger (Greg) of Paden City, WV, Joseph Eddy (Virginia) of Ellenboro, WV, and Jessica Gainer (Noah) of Kerens, WV; grandchildren, Chandler, Breauna and Brooklyn Anderson, Daishia and Tanner Gainer, Matthew and Michael Eddy; great-grandchildren, Scotland and Lainey Anderson; two sisters, Lucille Dailey and Donna Folger; one uncle, Chuck Eddy and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 7:00pm, Monday, September 25, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Claye Folger, his nephew, officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
