George Ray Hamilton

Hamilton, George Ray, 68, of Sistersville, WV, passed away November 4, 2009. He was born April 3, 1941, a son of the late Clyde Ray Hamilton and Margaret Davis Hamilton. He was retired from the West Virginia State Road Department in Tyler County. He attended the Buck Run Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Betty Mae Jones Hamilton of Sistersville; sons, Kenneth Hamilton and David Hamilton of Sistersville; daughters, Deborah Huffman of Seneca Rocks, WV and Barbara Haught of Sistersville; brothers, Leo and Harold Hamilton; sister, Rhea Davis; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy Kathryn Wade Hamilton; grandson, William Scott Hamilton; great-granddaughters, Kloe and Shelby Wayne. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8. Funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Posey officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
