Gladys "Gay" Gorrell

Gladys R. “Gay” Gorrell, 82, of Middlebourne, WV passed away February 12, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 19, 1930 in McDowell Co., WV a daughter of the late Oscar and Arvenia Mullins Lambert. She was a member of the Tyler River of Life Church. Gay enjoyed HAM radio, she was a member of the Tyler County Amateur Radio Organization and her radio call sign was KC8GIZ. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ray N. Gorrell, one son David (Tracy) Gorrell, grandchildren Emily and Jarrod Gorrell all of McDonald, TN, one brother Melvin Lambert of Abingdon, VA and one sister, Sally Morgan of Beckley, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. According to her wishes she will be cremated and the family will have a graveside memorial service at their convenience.
