Goldanna "Bernie" Dawson

Goldanna "Bernie" Lowther Lamp Dawson, 73, of Middlebourne, WV, (Wick Community) passed away December 27, 2019 at home. She was born December 9, 1946, in Wick, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Lowther and Zola Anderson Collins. Bernie worked the former Colin Anderson Center as a cook and she retired from Sistersville General Hospital as a cook. She was the rock of her family and enjoyed taking care of all of them and she enjoyed teaching them how to cook. She loved her dog, Allie and she enjoyed drinking her coffee on the front porch while watching birds and squirrels. She is survived by her sons, Russel (Beverly) Lamp and Bobby (Cindy) Lamp, both of Wick, WV and Rodney (Sheri) Lamp of Pennsboro, WV; daughter, Zoey (David) Tanner of Wick, WV; sister, Deloris Walker, brothers, Jospeh and Jerry Lowther and grandchildren, Hillary Lamp, Zachary Lamp, Shannon Lamp, Chase Tanner, Raven Lamp, Hailey Tanner and Hunter Lamp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bennie Lowther. Her family has honored her request for cremation without a service.
