Goldie Weekley

Goldie L. Weekley, 82, of Sistersville, WV, passed away May 3, 2011 at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born August 8, 1928, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Ernie Forester and Helen Selmon Forester. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sistersville First Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Martha Washington Chapter OES #22, Emblem Club #84 and a 1946 Graduate of Sistersville High School. Goldie is survived by her husband, Frank Weekley; sons, Tim (Chikako) Hizer, Jeff (Bonnie) Hizer and J.B. (Sonya) Hizer all of Sistersville; stepson, Terry (Krystal) of Hartsville, SC and stepdaughter, Brenda (Dan) Beaver of Tuscaloosa, AL and ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, John R. Hizer in 1966; brother, Louis Paul Forester, sister, Anna Mae Forester and granddaughter, Meredith Hizer. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Richards officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home.
