Harold Lee Smith

Harold Lee "Oscar" Smith, 58, of Sistersville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in the Sistersville General Hospital. He was born in Friendly, WV, a son of the late Lester H.Smith Sr.and Virginia Mae Auten Smith. Mr. Smith was a former employee of Wable Ford in Sistersville as an auto body repairman. In recent years, he enjoyed collecting and restoring Hot Wheel cars. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Friendly, was a former member of the Cruisers Car Club and was a 1973 graduate of Sistersville High School. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Elizabeth G. Seagrave Smith, one daughter, Heather Nicole Arth whom he referred to as Princess; sons, Wesley & Justin, two grandchildren, two half brothers, Dale Smith of St. Mary's, WV and Ronnie Smith of Charlotte, NC; Mother-In-Law, Charlene Seagrave of Middlebourne, WV; a good friend, Ed West and Oscars pet sheltie dog, Chase. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Collins; one half brother; Lester Smith Jr. and his father-in-law, Bryon Seagrave. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date. At the family's request there will be no viewing or service. Myers Funeral Home of Sistersville, WV is assisting the family with arrangements.
