Helen Ice Johnson

Helen Ice Johnson, 89, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on November 8, 2015 at home. She was born November 20, 1925, a daughter of the late Daniel Timothy Ice and Edna Victoria Buchanan Ice. Helen was retired from the United States Postal Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sistersville where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was also an avid quilter. She is survived by her sons; Bill (Janet) Johnson of Sistersville, WV and Dan (Pat) Johnson of Glenville, WV; daughters, Dorothy (Jim) Shreves of Sistersville, WV and Nancy (James) McMullen of Sistersville, WV; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Johnson in 2013; sister, Virginia Jones and brothers, Ralph Ice and John Ice. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home.
