Jackson K. Henthorn

Jackson K. Henthorn, 84, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on September 25, 2016 at home. He was born August 14, 1932, in Proctor, WV, a son of the late Grover Cleveland Henthorn and Delphia Henthorn. Jackson was a retired coal miner and he was a United States Army veteran. He loved his children and grand-children very much. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, wood-working and his puppies. He is survived by his wife, Mary Leasure Henthorn; sons, Jackson (Margaret) Henthorn of Middlebourne and Joseph (Christina) Henthorn of Friendly; daughters, Deborah (Donald) Robinson of Wick, Teresa (Rick) Stillwagoner of Proctor and April (Eric) Wolfe of New Martinsville; sister, Bonnie (Ronnie) Freeland of Paden City; fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert Henthorn and Jess Henthorn; sisters, Violet Greathouse, Betty Cain, Helena Fluharty and Mabel Henthorn and granddaughter, Angel Henthorn.
