James "Jim" Boor

James "Jim" Boor, 72, of Belmont, WV, passed away on October 26, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1949, in Sistersville, WV, to the late James Dillon Boor and Fannie Crane Boor. Jim retired from Valley National Gases as the Store Manager.He was in the United States Army and was a member of the Sistersville American Legion Post #67.He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Charlett Boor of Belmont, WV; daughter, Deanna Boor; brother, Denver Boor; sister, Mary Shingleton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Boor and brothers, Bob and Denley Boor. Visitation will be Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4-7 pm.Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am with Robert Carr officiating.Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery.
