Jane Neely

Jane Livingston Neely, 98, of Sistersville, died Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was born October 29, 1919, the daughter of Charles and Maude Hays Livingston in Friendly, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene H. Neely; one son, Michael Eugene Neely; one brother, William Livingston and wife Frankie; one sister, Eleanor Haught; and two sons-in-law, Gene Gilmore and Allen Wilson. She is survived by three daughters; Mary Neely, of Parkersburg, Leah Gilmore of Williamstown, and Carolyn Wilson of Sistersville; three grandsons, Michael Gilmore and wife Stacy, of Harrisville; Jeremy Wilson and wife, Becky, of Mebane, NC; and Mark Wilson and wife Maegan, of Proctorville, OH, and four great grandchildren; Tiffany, Joshua and Eli Gilmore and Evan Wilson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Neely was a Methodist by faith, a lifelong homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be remembered fondly by many for her lively sense of humor. Visitors will be received at Myers Funeral Home in Sistersville on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 12 noon. Memorial services will follow at the funeral home, at 1 p.m., officiated by Rev. Art Tucker. Interment will follow at Friendly Cemetery.
