Jean Gray

Gray, Jean, age 90, of Sistersville, WV died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1927 in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Dory and Martha Billiter Henderson. Jean retired from Corning Glass and was a member of the Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aldon Gray, Sr in 1997; five brothers: Kenneth, Carl, Lee, Ray and Nathaniel Henderson and one granddaughter, Madison Gray. Surviving are one son: Clarence Aldon Gray, Jr. of Sistersville; three daughters: Jean (Barry) Gaston of Sierra Vista, AZ; Barbara (Charlie, Sr.) Clegg of Sardis, OH and Kay (Mike) Pierpoint of Middlebourne, WV; one sister: Helen Eddy of East Canton, OH; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Family will receive friends at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville on Thursday, January 18 from 3-7 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19 with Pastor Dale Dudgeon officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paden Fork Chapel Christian Church, 1596 Paden Fork Rd., New Martinsville, WV 26155 or to your local humane society.
