Jennifer Steele

Jennifer Sue Steele, 37, of Huntington, WV, formally of Sistersville, WV, passed away December 14, 2023 at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Jennifer was struck by a vehicle while crossing at an intersection and was pronounced deceased a few days later with her family by her side.

She was born February 24, 1986, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Michael E. Steele and Pamela K. Smythe Steele.

Jennifer was a true Christian.  She was most at peace playing her guitar and writing poems. Jennifer loved her family and friends, but mostly proud of her son, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis and Ellen Steele, Richard and Ellen Smythe and an Aunt, Debora Smythe.

She is survived by her son, Hyden; brother, Anthony (Heidi) Steele of New Martinsville, WV; sister, Tammy (Nate) Frum of Sistersville, WV; Aunt, Joellen (Tim) Meeks, of Sistersville, WV; several nieces and nephews, Emma Steele, Evan Frum, Sammie (Matt) Frum, Jacob Frum; great-niece, Bailee Mae Jones and several cousins.

Jennifer chose to be an organ donor in hopes to save or transform the life of someone else.

The family will have a private burial at Friendly Cemetery.
