Jerry Dailey

Jerry Dailey, 79, of Friendly, WV, passed away, January 26, 2018 at Sistersville Center. He was born March 2, 1938, in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late Frances Loyd "Frank" Dailey and Izona Cross Dailey. Jerry retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways and he was a member of the Friendly United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Dailey of Friendly, WV; daughters, Tamela (Brian) Weekley of Sistersville, WV and Melissa Barkes of Massillon, OH; sisters, Geneva Cumbridge, Anna Mae Brown and Frances Tippins; grandchildren, Daron Weekley, Miranda Weekley and Rachel Barkes and special brother-in-law, Carl Rice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and grandson, Garrett Weekley. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Tom Butterfield officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
