Jimmy Carpenter

James "Jimmy" Carpenter, 42, of Paden City, WV, passed away January 12, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 22, 1978, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Lisa Mendenhall Davis and Mikel Davis. Jimmy was a 1996 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School where he was honored by his classmates with the Chivalry Award. He also attended Daytona Beach Community College where he took honor's classes and was on the Dean's List. He was passionate about wrestling, snowboarding, surfing, weightlifting, fishing, golfing and tennis. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-grandfather, Bob Davis, Uncle and Aunt, Greg and Edie Mendenhall, Great- Uncle and Aunt, Bob and Beulah DeMoss, Aunt, Jan Wyatt and Cousin, Mandy Wyatt. He is preceded in death, by his grandparents, Hugh and Shirlene Mendenhall. His parents will honor his wishes with a memorial service at a later date in Daytona Beach, FL.
