John Ankrom

John Ankrom, 72, of Middlebourne, passed away February 7, 2014 at home. He was born December 9, 1941, in Kidwell, W.Va., the son of the late William Everett and Helen Beatrice Harter Ankrom. He is survived by his daughters, Melanie (Darren) Dye of Clarington, Ohio and Patty (Jason) Henthorn of Middlebourne, W,Va.; six grandchildren, Mekayla, Easton and Striker Dye and Kaytlyn, Jonathan and Jasmine Henthorn; sisters, Mary Foor of Canton, Ohio, Betty Lou (Herman) Haught of Middlebourne, W.Va. and Nellie Mae (James) Wilson of Middlebourne, W.Va.; and brothers, Oliver Thomas (Maxine) Ankrom of New Martinsville, W.Va., Brady Ivan (Marilyn) Ankrom of Middlebourne, W.Va. and Roger Allen Ankrom of Middlebourne, W.Va. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kay C. Ankrom; daughter, Melissa Ankrom; and brother, Frank Louis Ankrom. Funeral services will be held at the Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Sistersville, W.Va. on Sunday, February 9,2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Herman Haught officiating. Calling hours will be 12:00 Noon until the time of services.
