John E. Jones

John E. Jones, 67, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on February 25, 2020 at home. John was born March 2, 1952, in Sistersville, WV, the son of the late James Jones and Florence Koher Jones. He was a member of the Parkersburg Labors Union Local Number 1085 for over 30 years. He worked at the Pleasants Power Station and he loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Weekley Jones; sons, John (Dorothy) Jones and Allen Jones, both of Sistersville; brothers, Jim (Pam) Jones and Roger (Kim) Jones; sisters, Joyce-Ann Moore, Patty (Lee) Posey and Janie (Bill) Ramsey; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Jones, sister, Martha Jones and brother-in-law, Robert Moore. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from noon until time of service at 1:00 pm at Hope Fellowship Church with Pastor Roger Yost officiating.
