John P. Litten

John P. Litten, 61, of Sistersville, W.Va., died April 24, 2009. He was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Cheverly, Md., a son of the late George Preston Litten and the late Margaret Priscilla Garrott. He was a boilerman and a Vietnam Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl D. Kauten Litten; sons, John Litten of Wick, W.Va., Brian Litten of Paden City, W.Va., and George Litten of Pennsylvania; daughters, Laura Laird of Pasadena, Md., Jennifer Morris of Friendly, W.Va., and Debbie Blosser of Marietta, Ohio; brother, Mike Litten of Maryland; sisters, Peggy Klemp of Philadelphia, Pa., and Bobbi Harrington of Maryland; and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville with the Rev. Bill Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Archers Chapel in Sistersville. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
