John Marshall Mace, 60, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on November 17, 2012 at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born December 10, 1951, a son of Mary Lee Flesher Mace and the late Howard William Mace. John is survived by his wife of 39 years, Camille Bolen Mace; son, Josh (Crissy) Mace of Paden City; daughter, Sarah (Curt) Tallman of Sistersville; grandchildren, John Mace, II, Bo Parker Tallman and Ty Marshall Tallman; sisters, Debra (Mike) Ice of Friendly, Nancy (Steve) Chaplin of Sistersville and Pamela (Dick) Ward of Sardis, OH; brother, Howard (Diana) Mace, Jr. of Friendly and several nieces and nephews. John worked at Shoemaker Coal Mine for 38 years, he was a 1971 graduate of Sistersville High School, he was a member of the United Mine Workers Local 1473, a member of the Tyler Rod & Gun Club, he loved hunting and fishing, attending WV Mountaineer games and he dearly loved his grandchildren. In addition to his father he was preceded by his sister, Peggy Thomas. Services will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 5-9 at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery.
