John Francis Tanczyn

John Francis Tanczyn, 60, of Sistersville, passed away May 9, 2011 at home. He was born September 26, 1950, a son of the late Harry Tanczyn and Alice Tanczyn. John lived in WV for the last 26 years and was a correctional officer at the former State Penitentiary in Moundsville. He provided social work services for children and adults. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Tanczyn of Sistersville; brother, Michael Tanczyn of Baltimore; sisters, Mary Wachter of Illinois, Denise Arnett of Maryland, Dorothy Tanczyn of Baltimore and Margie Tanczyn of Delaware and several nieces and nephews.
