Joseph Reed Mitchell

Joseph Mitchell, 90, of Sistersville, WV, passed away June 22, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Joe was born in Sistersville, WV, on March 1, 1931, to the late Frank R. Mitchell and Mildred Smythe Mitchell. Joe was a United States Air Force veteran and retired from the former Union Carbide.He was an avid fisherman, model train enthusiast and a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Joe is survived by his daughters, Cathy (Greg) Elder of St. Mary's, WV and Sue Mitchell of Vienna, WV. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Bunny in 2009; brother, Bob Mitchell and his beloved good boy companion, Barney.
