Joyce Ann Bowen

Joyce Ann Bowen, 84, of Sistersville, WV, passed away March 29, 2017, at Sistersville Center. She was born July 8, 1932, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Eugene Earl Bowen and Irene "Dot" Shepard Bowen. Joyce worked as a Secretary for Wiser Oil Company and she was a member of the Canasta Club. She is survived by her niece, Sue Ann Parichuk and great-niece and nephew, Diana and Joseph Parichuk, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; nephew, Robert Hogan and niece, Lisa Hogan, also of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; niece, Jennifer Ann Stewart (Jerry) Lantz, of Philippi, WV; and nephew, James (Jill) Stewart and great-nephew, Dustin Stewart, great-niece, Alissa Stewart (Bryan) Hinchman and great-great nephew, Grant Hinchman, of Huntington, WV; and special friend and neighbor, Mary Lois Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty (Joe) Hogan and Sue (Joe) Stewart; brother, Robert Bowen and nephew, Tom Stewart. The family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the Sistersville Center staff for their kindness and attention to Joyce. Services will be Sunday from 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:30 PM at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Timothy J. Kelley officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
