Joyce Ann Longwell

Joyce Longwell, 72, of Sistersville, WV, passed away May 24, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born March 20, 1940, a daughter of the late John Christian and Louise Evans Christian Kannan. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her grandchildren and taking family vacations to the beach. Joyce is survived by her husband, Tom Longwell; son, Steve Longwell of Sistersville; daughters, Rene (Mike) Hickman of Sistersville, Lisha (Rich) Wilson of Wheeling and Terri (Bill) Bassett of Hampton, VA; grandchildren, Danielle, Kristen and Lindsay Wilson, Kailee and Lydia Hickman, Kregg, Jerrod and Bailee Longwell and Tom, Lauren and Emily Bassett; great-grandchildren, Mayson and Desseray Moffitt; brother, Bill Kannan of Florida; and sisters, Mary (Mickey) Kannan of Florida and Toni Cunningham of Sistersville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Abby Kannan. Funeral services will be Monday, May 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend James Willison officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
