Joyce Moore

Joyce Moore, 69, of Sistersville, WV passed away February 15, 2024 at home, with her family by her side. She was born April 4, 1954, a daughter of the late James Jones, Sr. and Florence Koher Jones.

Joyce worked for Sistersville General Hospital in Housekeeping.  She enjoyed camping, coloring, working crosswords and working at the Tyler County Racetrack.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Erin) Moore of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Tammy (John Austin) Rice of Sistersville, WV; grandchildren, Aleah Baker, Malachi Shepherd, Katherine Moffitt, Jr. Moore, Nevaeh Moore, Abby (Hunter) Jones, Olyvia (David) Weekley, James Myers and Joseph Greathouse; great-grandchildren, Montannah Jones and Silas Weekley; her fiancé, Robert Tucker; sisters, Patty (Clarence) Posey and Janie Ramsey and brothers, Jim Jones and Roger (Kim) Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Moore; brothers, Robby Jones and John Jones and sister, Martha Jones.

The family has honored Joyce’s wishes for cremation with no services.
