Kathy Taylor

Kathryn "Kathy" Corrigan Taylor, 64, of Indian Creek, WV, formerly of Sistersville, went to be with the heavenly father on November 12, 2014. She was born June 28, 1950, a daughter of the late Frank Corrigan and Leta Wood Corrigan. Kathy was employed for 28 years with the Tyler County Board of Education. She was a member of the Dale Church of Christ and a member of the Indian Creek Community Club. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed traveling. Kathy is survived by her son, Bernard Lee Taylor, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Renee (Bob) Cornell; brother, Jerry Corrigan; sisters, Nilah Schepleng and Dorothy Blankenship; grandchildren, Joshua Taylor, Jessica (Shane) Eads, Callie Taylor, Zack Taylor, Spenser (Adrean) Cornell, Ethan Cornell and Megan Cornell; great-grandchildren, Dean, Anthony, Rya, Emily and Sophia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Taylor, Sr. in 2012, her daughter-in-law, Dawna Taylor; brothers, Leo Corrigan and Charles Corrigan and sisters, Rosa Channell and Mary Snow. Services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist William Ferrell officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Victory Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dale Church of Christ, 100 Braden Lane, Lima, WV 26377.
