Kenneth Duane Minor

Kenneth Duane Minor, 80, of Baytown, Texas, passed away June 2, 2019, at the Houston Methodist Hospital, Baytown, Texas. Kenny was born September 1, 1938 in Middlebourne, West Virginia, to parents; Fountain Dee and Lucille Jane Starcher Minor, and has resided in Baytown, Texas for the past 40 years. He was a graduate of Tyler County High School, attended Lee College, and was a retired technician for Bayer Chemical Corporation. Kenny was also a member of the Church of Christ and Masonic Lodge AF & AM. He enjoyed gardening, yardwork, tinkering, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Minor was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Fountain Eugene Minor, Ralph Hartzell Minor, Denver Leymoyne Minor, and Archie E. Minor. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Twyla Jean Folger Minor, sons: Stephen Duane Minor and partner Thomas Hall and David Craig Minor and companion Elisabeth Myers, his fur baby: Sophie, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 12:00 pm, Friday, June 7. Interment will follow in the Middlebourne Cemetery.
