Kevin Devaughn

Kevin John DeVaughn, 56, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on August 22, 2024.

Kevin was born on April 4, 1968, to James and Donna DeVaughn in Davenport, Iowa.  He was a 1986 graduate of Sistersville High School and he was a United States Army veteran, serving in Desert Storm in Iraq.

Kevin was employed by Momentive Performance Materials and worked at the Sistersville Plant for over 20 years.

Kevin enjoyed running his dogs, Scrappy and Baxter, on Middle Island Creek and the Ohio River. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughters, going on side-by-side rides, attending sporting events, kayaking on the New River, fishing, hunting and spending time in the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his sister, Heather DeVaughn.

He is survived by his wife, Krista (Hanood) DeVaughn; daughters, Madison DeVaughn and Hali DeVaughn, all of Sistersville, WV; brother, JC DeVaughn; and nieces, Jaye DeVaughn and Kendall Brown (both daughters of Heather DeVaughn).

A private service will be held by his family to honor his wishes.
