Kimberly Ann Carr Avery

Kimberly Ann Carr Avery, 59, of Marietta, OH, formerly of Sistersville, WV, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Arbors of Marietta, OH. She was born May 6, 1956, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Phyllis Ann Carr. Kimberly was a Customer Service Representative for AT&T Mobility and Teletec and was an Episcopalian by faith. She was a 1974 graduate of Sistersville High School where she was Class Valedictorian, active in all band activities especially the marching band and was named to the McDonald's All-American High School Band; was a member of the National Honor Society; Thespians and attended WVU. Kimberly raised many cats through her life that she loved very much. She is survived by her half-brother, Robert Shawn Cowgill; Uncle, Bob (Marla) Carr and many cousins and friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ellen Bunting.
