Leslie P. Maull

Leslie P. Maull, 69, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away July 29, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born September 12, 1946, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Kenneth Ash and Eunice Hadley Ash. Leslie was a retired Major serving in the United States Air Force. She served in Wiesbaden Hospital in Germany where she met her husband, Roy. She also served in Thailand and served as a flight nurse at Scott Air Force base in Illinois. She was stationed at numerous bases including Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico and Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Vienna Chapter #151 where she served as past Matron and Williamstown Chapter #58; served as Grand Electa and the Cherish Your Dreams Grand Family and a Grand Representative of Louisiana in WV. Leslie was a voracious reader; she was a graduate of SHS class of 1964. She was also a HAM radio operator. She is survived by her husband, Roy S. Maull and sisters, Bernice Nickens of Murfreesboro, TN and Kate Dawkins of Vienna, WV; numerous cousins and a host of relatives. There will be a gathering of friends on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm at the St. Marys Masonic Lodge where a graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Friendly Cemetery.
