Lexie M. Dennis

Lexie M. Dennis, 80, of New Martinsville, died January 27, 2009, in the New Martinsville Heath Care Center. She was born November 27, 1928 in Tyler County, the daughter of Samuel A. Freeman and Flossie Gay Watson Freeman. Dennis was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bridge St. Church of Christ, New Martinsville. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Hilden Freeman. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Walter Dennis; three sons, Randall Dennis, of Paden City, Neal Dennis, of Virginia Beach, VA, and Roger Dennis, of Middlebourne, WV; one daughter, Lorna Leddy, of Wheeling; four grandchildren, Megan Leddy, of Wheeling, Erin Duran, of Erie, PA, Ryan Dennis, of Middlebourne, WV, Shawn Dennis, of Middlebourne, WV; and one brother, Argle Freeman, of Ft. Payne, AL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2009 at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville with Evangelist Charles Pugh, III officiating. Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Paden City Memorial Gardens, Paden City.
