Linda Lou Owens

Owens, Linda Lou, age 72, of Sistersville, WV died Friday, December 22, 2017 surrounded by her family at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born on April 15, 1945 in Sistersville, a daughter of the late Isaac “Ike” and Sarah Ellen Boyd Fisher. Linda was a homemaker; a member of the V.F.W. Post #6327 Ladies Auxiliary, Sistersville. She loved crocheting and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters: Janet Haythorne, Lucille Raper, Doris Haythorn, Karlena Roberts and Norma Ebert; three brothers: Billy, Fred and Robert Fisher. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Junior Owens; two sons: Daniel Owens at home and James (Roberta) Owens of Virginia; one grandson: Casey Owens and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville, Sunday, December 24, 2017. from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Matt Llewellyn officiating. Private interment will follow at McKim Cemetery, Wick, WV.
