Linda M. Sole

Linda Sole, 70, of Sistersville, WV, passed away October 2, 2012 at home. She was born August 24, 1942 in Wetzel County, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd Kimble and Opal Loy Thomas. Linda was involved with the Ladies Day Committee at the Tyler County Fair. She loved camping, cooking and doing crafts. She worked for Don King for many years and she attended the Sistersville Nazarene Church. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Sole of Sistersville; son, Jim “Jaybo” Sole and his wife, Joy, of North Kingston, RI; grandson, (who was more like a son), Michael “Mikie” Sole, II and his wife, Amy, of Cape Coral, FL; grandsons, James Sole and Jonathan Sole of RI; granddaughter, Jenna Sole of RI and sister, Mary Dietch of Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sole; brothers, George Thomas, Ben Thomas and Tom Thomas and sisters, Francis Perry and Claire Wetzel. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Jim “Jaybo” Sole officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home.
