Margaret Joan Barnhart

Margaret Joan Barnhart, 81, of Sistersville, WV passed away September 10, 2013 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born April 4, 1932 in New Martinsville, WV a daughter of the late Frank and Norma Hoskins Howell. Joan was a wonderful homemaker, she loved to cook, sew and tend to her flower garden. She was an avid reader and a loving mother who will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Richard “Junior” Barnhart, two daughters, Karla (Dick) Weekley of Sistersville, WV, Debra Pandelos of Bridgeport, OH, one brother, Norman Howell of Zephyr Hills, FL, 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard B. Barnhart, Timothy Barnhart and one sister and brother in law, Sandra and Glenn Davis. Services will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1 PM at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Friendly Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
