Martha King

Martha King, 87, of Sistersville, WV, passed away August 27, 2019 at home. She was born September 10, 1931, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late John Wilkinson and Beryle Hissam Wilkinson. Martha was a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ. She worked as a telephone operator, worked at the 5&10 and as a secretary for her husband Don's accounting business. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don King in 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (David) Tieche, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sandy Kertis of Chandler, AZ and Linda Buchanan of Friendly, WV; grandchildren, Eric Walton, Drew Kertis, Mark Kertis, Michelle Kertis, Daniel Phillips and Hannah Sole and six great-grandchildren. Services will be from 10-11 am until time of funeral at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating.
