Martha Martin

Martha Martin, 79, of Sistersville, WV, passed away August 8, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born January 17, 1944, a daughter of the late Arthur Mayfield and Martha Stacy Mayfield.

Martha enjoyed crafting, sewing and working in her yard.  She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed listening to Christian speakers.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Rick) Logan of Sistersville, WV; grandchildren, Melissa (Dan) Whitacre, Craig (Brittany) Surface, Josh (Lynea) Logan and Shayna (Andrew Vannoy) Foland; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Martin; daughter, Brenda Surface; brother, Robert Mayfield and sisters, Dortha Mae Hohne and Ruth Ann Keller.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 pm at Myers Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Don Biram officiating.  Interment will be at Paden Memorial Gardens.
