Mary Mace

Mary Mace, 88, of Friendly, WV, passed away August 14, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1931, in Friendly, WV, a daughter of the late John Flesher and Mittie Core Flesher. Mary was a member of the Friendly United Methodist Church and she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Mace; brothers, Don, Buell and Laverne; sister, Betty Daniels; son, John Mace; daughter, Peggy Thomas, one grandson and one great-grandson. She is survived by her son, Howard (Diana) Mace of Friendly, WV; daughters, Debra (Mike) Ice of Friendly, WV, Pam (Dick) Ward of Sardis, OH and Nancy Chaplin of Paden City, WV; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Mace, Sierra Mace, Amanda (Shannon) Huffman, Steven (Lexie) Chaplin, Leann (Arron) Lasure, Randy Ward, Sarah (Curt) Tallman, Josh Mace, Chris Ice and Jessica (David) Kanneg and seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Tennant officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1 pm at the funeral home.
