Mary E. Morris

Mary Esther Morris, 84, of Sistersville, WV, passed away January 8, 2010 at the Sistersville Center. She was born September 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Harry Burns and Mary Moore Burns. She worked as a Nurse Aide and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She is survived by son, Dan Reynolds of Griffithsville, WV; stepsons, Howard Morris of Middlebourne, WV and Tom Morris of Alvy, WV; stepdaughters, Carol Lasure of New Martinsville, WV, Sandra Headley of Indian Creek, WV and Shirley McCoy of Mt. Morris, PA; sisters-in-law, Olive Burns of Hamlin, WV and Chee Chee Burns of Yawkey, WV; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morris; son, Jack Reynolds, stepson, Edwin Morris, four brothers and two sisters. Services will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jeremy Joy officiating. Visitation will be from 2-6 Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
