Mary Patterson

Mary Patterson, 87, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on October 23, 2020 at home. She was born October 4, 1933, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Theodore Starkey and Martha Furbee Starkey. Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed her dog Sammy, working on the farm, quilting and cooking. She loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Patterson and Earl Patterson of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Linda (Rodney) Dennis of Friendly, WV; brother, Stanley Starkey of New Martinsville, WV; grandchildren, Jessie Patterson, Rachael Patterson, Justin Dennis and Shawna Zwick and great-grandchildren, Andrew Billiter, Amie Robinson, Bentlee, Harper and Kole Dennis, Andi, Danica and Zeva Fiber and Brooklynn Zwick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Morris Patterson and brother, Homer Bud Starkey. The family would like to thank Journey Hospice for all of their compassion and caring. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Don Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
