Mary Louise Travers

Mary Louise Travers, 91, of Sistersville, WV, formerly Salem, WV, passed away on November 18, 2020 at Rada's Personal Care. She was born January 1, 1929 in Doddridge County, WV, a daughter of the late Aubrey Gum and Opal Rymer Gum. Mary retired as a Claims Adjuster with the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, MD. She also worked at JC Penney and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. She was a member of the Salem Garden Club and enjoyed quilting and painting. She is survived by her sons, William (Jerry Lynn) Travers, III of Smyrna, DE, Michael (Carol) Travers of Pasadena, MD and John (Sharie Bourbeau) Travers of Leander, TX; daughters, Mary Clark of Sacramento, CA, Elizabeth (Larry) Timm of Alexandria, KY and Susan Travers of Sistersville, WV; grandchildren, William Marshok, Adam Marshok, Aaron (Jenny) Marshok and Jacob Clark and great-grandson, Isaiah Marshok. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Gum and Aubrey Gum, Jr. and sister, Betty Hollander. As per Mary's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
