Maxine Ruth Harton

Maxine Ruth Harton, 75, of Sistersville, WV, entered into the gates of Heaven on September 21, 2014. She was born November 29, 1938, daugther of the late Wilmer Dailey, Sr. and Hazel Wigal Dailey. Maxine was a homemaker and a devout Christian. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, William G. Harton; sons, Billy (Yalonda) Harton and Larry Dean Harton; daughters, Crystal Kaufman, Kay Strain, Deana Brown, Tina Rucker and Tonya Slonaker; brothers, Wilmer Dailey, Jr., Donald Dailey and Ernest Dailey and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dean Eldon Ott, Jr. and daughter, Cindy Marie Harton. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Dawson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
