Melba G. "Geraldine" Wyke

Melba G. “Geraldine” Wyke, 80, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away August 19, 2011 at home. She was born March 24, 1931, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Eather Stillwagoner and Anna Hebrock Stillwagoner. She was a homemaker and a past President of Sistersville Emblem Club. She was a Methodist by faith. Geraldine is survived by her sons, Terry Wyke of Shinnston, Roger Wyke and Jasper Wyke of Middlebourne and Doug Wyke of New Martinsville; daughters, Diane Mason and Brenda Smith of Middlebourne and Rita Malloy and Melba Myers of Charleston, SC; brothers, Russell Stillwagoner of Sulfur Springs, TX, Robert Stillwagoner of Proctor and Francis William Stillwagoner of Mt. Vernon, IN; sister, Gladys Nutter of Mt. Vernon, IN; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wyke, brothers, Birchie, Ralph and Charles Stillwagoner, sister, Bernadine Ruble, ½ brother, Glen Stillwagoner, ½ sister, Margaret Stillwagoner, grandson, Timothy Wyke, granddaughter, Jessica Myers and daughter-in-law, Linda Wyke. There will be a graveside service Saturday, August, 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Paden Memorial Gardens with Pastor Louise Baker officiating.
