Melvia Jean

Melvia Jean Fox, 63, of Sistersville, WV, passed away April 12, 2018, at home. She was born September 4, 1954, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Melvin Williamson and Norma Jean Knowlton Williamson. Melvia was a retired cashier at Wal Mart. She was a member of the Middlebourne Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Chris (Jill) Fox of Parkersburg, WV; daughter, Heather Fox of Middlebourne, WV; sisters, Judy (Steve) Roberts, Barbara (Larry) Roberts and Cathy (Allen) Eddy, all of Middlebourne, WV; brother, Michael (Jodi) Saffel of Gettysburg, PA; grandchildren, William Gordon, Carlé Stewart, Megan Fox, Matthew Fox, Nicholas Fox and Haven Hunter and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Fox in 2004. Services will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Guild officiating.
