Michael Scott Murphy

Michael Scott Murphy, 28, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away May 23, 2010 at Wetzel County Hospital. He was born January 18, 1982, a son of Hershel Ray Murphy and Linda Darleen Thomas (Mark) Dolfi. He was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany D. Leek and daughter, Brooklyn Reign Murphy of New Martinsville; sisters, Mindy Michelle Murphy of New Martinsville, Minta Flynt and Goldie Flynt of Belington, WV; grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Davis of Sistersville; great-grandmother Maxine Arnott of Cross Lanes; aunt, Charlene Thomas of New Martinsville and special cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Emaline Thomas and great-grandmother, Goldie Richeson. Services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Taylor officiating.
