Mona Cumberledge

Mona Cumberledge, of Sistersville, WV, passed away December 18, 2021 at Sistersville Center. She was born in Wilbur, WV, a daughter of the late Earl Stubbs and Garnet Seckman Stubbs. Mona was very strong in her faith, living life as a devout Christian.She supported many community churches and she loved quilting and sewing. She is survived by her son, Ronald Cumberledge of Alma, WV; daughters, Joyce (Dale) Hill of Bens Run, WV, Jan (Greg) Davis of Birmingham, AL; sister, Anita Doll of Sistersville, WV; brothers, Howard Stubbs of Shirley, WV and Jimmy Stubbs of Salem, WV; foster son, Roger Smith; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Cumberledge; son, Terry Cumberledge, sisters, Frances Hart and Wilma George and brother, Leo Stubbs. Services will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Yost officiating.Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.Interment will be at Wilbur Cemetery.
