Nancy Dabbs

Nancy Lyle Dabbs, 77, of Davenport, WV, passed away, January 4, 2016. She was born June 9, 1938, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Lyle Chittum, Sr. and Maxine Hatfield. Nancy was a "Grandmother" with the Grandparent's Program at Sistersville Elementary School and she was a volunteer and Board Member at Olive Branch Animal Rescue. She was a member of the Paden City Church of God and the Pike Church of God. She is survived by her sons, Robert L. (Katrina) Dabbs of Paden City, WV, Preston (Kim) Dabbs of Parkersburg, WV and Kevin "Pat" Dabbs of Sistersville, WV; three sisters; three brothers; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Dabbs in 2006; one brother and one grandchild. Services will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
