Nancy Mcmullen

Nancy McMullen, 69, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on March 12, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 5, 1954, at home, near Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Kenneth Johnson and Helen Ice Johnson.

Nancy was a member of the Sistersville First Baptist Church where she played the piano and was a graduate of the SHS Class of 1972.  She delighted in any moment spent with her 6 grandsons.  Nancy had several hobbies, she enjoyed reading, working jigsaw puzzles, gardening, crocheting and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James McMullen of Sistersville, WV; son, Frank (Ali) McMullen of Williamstown, WV; daughter, Sarah (Logan) Efaw of Middlebourne, WV; brothers, Bill (Janet) Johnson and Dan (Pat) Johnson; grandchildren, Sam McMullen, Connor Efaw, Dan McMullen, Tristan Efaw, Miles Efaw, Timmy McMullen and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy (Jim) Shreves and nephew, Brian Johnson.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the funeral home.
