Nancy L. Smith, 67, of Sistersville, WV, went home to be with her savior on April 18, 2012. She was born May 14, 1944, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Harley Cooper and Opal Stoneking Cooper. Nancy was as a registered nurse for many years at Sistersville General Hospital as an Emergency Room nurse and as a floor nurse. She was a graduate of WV Northern College and was a 1962 graduate of Sistersville High School. She was a member of the Pursley Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Blaine E. Smith; son, Tony (Amanda) Kemp of Sistersville; daughters, Sabrina (Chad) Buchanan of Paden City, Brandi (Rick) Walton of Glen Dale and Jillian Smith of New Martinsville; brother, Ray (Judy) Cooper of Sistersville; sisters, Alice (Floyd) Bungard of Paden City, Mazie (Ralph) Dunn of New Matamoras, OH, Shirley (Larry) Kimble of Middlebourne and Debbie (Kenny) Lipscomb of Sistersville; grandchildren, Abby and Avery Kemp, Sydney Reed and Jace Reed, Jaxon Buchanan, Brylee and Zander Henderson and Bregan Walton and several nieces and nephews and special friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles O. Kemp. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Tom Butterfield officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
