Orel Mcintyre

Orel M. McIntyre, 89, of Friendly, WV passed away July 9, 2011 at Ohio Valley Health Care Nursing Home, Parkersburg, WV. She was born on September 13, 1921 in Pontiac, IL a daughter of the late Harold and Eva Smith Ruff. She was a member of the McDowell Methodist Church of Pontiac, IL. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by two daughters, Constance (Ronald) Curry of Princeville, HI, Barbara (Buddy) Richards of Parkersburg, one son, James (Kim) McIntyre, Jr. of Sistersville, WV, five grandchildren, Ronald Curry II, Betsy Ann Curry, Heather McIntyre, Adriane McIntyre, Tyler Richards, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Alice Schrieber, Norma Gregory, and one brother, Robert Andes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her step-mother, Ruth Ruff, her husband, James McIntyre, Sr., one sister, Lois Hurt and two brothers, Richard and Lewis Ruff. Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Quiet Dell, WV on Tuesday, July 12 at 2 P.M. Calling hours will be at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV on Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 AM.
