Orville "Al" Creighton

Orville "Al" Creighton, 86, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on October 13, 2022 at Dunbar Center in Dunbar, WV.

He was born May 12, 1936, in Beham, PA, a son of the late Edward Creighton and Virginia Craig Creighton.

Al retired after 40 years of service from Verizon.  When he retired he was an Installation Removal Foreman for the State of West Virginia.  He was a member of the Friendly United Methodist Church and was a member of the United States Army, achieving the rank of E4 and in the 18 ^th Airborne Division.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Creighton; son, Rick (Barbara) Creighton; daughter, Melanie (Steve) McFarland; step-son, David (Debbie) Webster; grandchildren, Brock McFarland, Jessika Hall, Veronika Mahoney, Ian Webster and Mary Webster and great-grandchildren, Vivienne Hall, Max Hall and Erik Mahoney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Fox officiating.  Burial will follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.
