Otis Yost

Otis Yost, 77, of Friendly, WV, passed away December 28, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1941, in St. Mary's, WV, a son of the late Fred Yost and Ruth Bowers Yost Ferrell. Otis was an Operator for the West Virginia State Road and he was a member of the Sistersville American Legion Post #67. He loved music, traveling and being outside. He is survived by his wife, Judy Yost of Friendly, WV; sons, David (Nancy) Yost of Mooresville, NC and Matthew (Keesha) Yost of Friendly, WV; daughters, Debbie (Jack) Hashman of Sistersville, WV, Shelley (Randy) Sunderman of St., Mary's, WV, Kimberly (Raymond) Crawford of Marietta, OH and Janet Crum of Upper Sandusky, OH; brothers, Fred Yost, Ronald Yost, Dale Yost, Richard Yost, Gary Yost and Roger Yost; sister, Patricia Swiger; twenty-four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Derek Yost; brother, Delmas Yost and sisters, Lola Cole and Hazel Workman. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm with Larry Swiger officiating at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV. Interment will be at the Willow Island Cemetery.
