Patricia Wetzel

Wetzel, Patricia, age 78, of Paden City, WV died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV. She was born on August 25, 1938 in Havana, Cuba a daughter of the late Manuel and Delores Gonzales Guerra. Patricia was a homemaker; a member of the Paden City First Baptist Church and loved to play bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy G. Wetzel on February 26, 2014 and a grandson, Gerald Peck, Jr. Survivors include two daughters: Heidi (Mike) Peck of Massillon, OH and Kari (Mike) Weekley of Sistersville, WV; one son: Guy G. (Mary) Wetzel, II of Alliance, OH; one brother: Edward Yanes of Davie, FL; three sisters: Amelia Garcia of Mooresville, NC, Conchita Nespoli and Sunci Driedric both of Portsmouth, VA; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday kat the Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Jonathan Mast officiating. Interment will be at Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
